Tragic life of a Scottish Child singing star, Maria Tambini. Full of great discriptive language - we were right back there in front of the T.V. with Hugie Green and Opportunity Knocks. Is the story line to close to a biography of Lena Zavaroni?
Sadly not a page turner for us, but we did love the descriptions of that era, and Rothesay. In our opinion not Mr O'Hagan's best book to date.
